Like flies

It's my sincerest hope that using a book review to post a video link to Walthamstow's finest didn't cause this monumental tear in the fabric of the litblog universe: Ed quits being Reluctant.

But perhaps I give myself too much credit.

At the risk of causing more litbloggers to throw in the towel, I'll continue to come clean over some of the more cringe-worthy music I listened to in the mid-nineties. Sunscreem, anyone? No, no: Utah Saints! I'm still paying my dues for the number of hours I spent in college doing The Bluetones dance and recording Ocean Colour Scene videos off of late night television. (Though, between you and me? I enjoyed what I heard of the new Bluetones album, released last year, and Moseley Shoals is still a good listen.)

Can I make it up to you? I'll be posting my Best of 2007 music list this week (along with other "best of"s). It won't make Ed come back, but it might help The Husband finally forgive me for my Stourbridge phase.
