The Volunteer

"Can I set my coffee on the floor here while I go in the booth? I'm too nervous. I don't want to spill it."

"Don't set it on the floor! I'll hold it for you."

"You'll be holding babies by the end of the day."

"I've had everything today. I was holding a dog before."

The sound of the machine crank as the lever is pulled to voting position.

"I'll hold anything to change history."
