The Unexpected Metaphor

I never realized the way I felt could be so well illustrated by the red-lipsticked smile of a Korean woman in a brown snowsuit rollerblading wobbly through the intersection of 72nd and Broadway with plastic bags slung over her shoulders and hips like a pack mule.
